Creative Manifestation of Content 2020
Nearing the one year anniversary of the launch of Content 2020 I wanted to share a brilliant work of art that captures the spirit of the body of work my team and I have worked so hard to develop. For those that have seen the Liquid & Linked video you are familiar with the great illustration that helps narrate the story and brings the vision to life. Now, thanks to a few fantastic artists, this vision is able to live in both a digital sphere as well as a stunning physical manifestation. Here is a little timeline showing how this amazing piece was brought to fruition.
After pasting the original artwork up on the wall, a template was made to cut out that iconic bottle shape that would act as the canvas for the rest of the work.

With some sanding and various preparations the bottle was ready for a little paint. It was first painted white and then given depth with the addition of varying shades of grey.

It was now time to start transforming Andrew’s original illustration into multiple pieces that would be used to build a 3-D representation of the drawing.

This was an incredibly meticulous task. Look at all the layers and detailed cuts made! Incredible!
In all there were over 4,000 pieces cut to make up the piece! Word has it they keep finding little bubbles floating around the workshop floor :)

Finally, the individual components of the piece were ready for the same treatment as the bottle. A little white wash and some shading.

Everything starts coming together but is still in need of a little illustration.

Every letter is carefully put into position with tweezers and the bubbles (some of which still hiding in the workshop!) are painted with some serious concentration!

After hours of flawless execution, things start coming together. Brilliant!

The detail in the wood work is just impeccable! Check out the top of the bottle before and after painting.

I can’t even begin to say how honored I am to have this piece of artwork crafted. It’s a beautiful manifestation of a strategy and vision I am incredibly proud to have authored. Here is the final product along with Jill, one of the amazing artists that had a hand in building this spectacular piece of creativity.

A huge thanks to Jill & Massimo for all their hard work and dedication! Your creativity and amazing ability have been noticed and will forever be appreciated.
Simply brilliant!
